The third and final day of the Neom Americas Cup Preliminary Regatta took the event and high performance onto another level. The breeze and sea state were both up on the day before and the fleet delivered yet more fast close action.
It is no over statement to say that this event will doubtless go down as a defining moment in big boat foiling racing, the point at which it became clear that traditional fleet and match racing tactics can be played out at over 30 knots with multiple lead changes to match.
Ask anyone who was here and you'll get the same response, whether it was on or off the water, the Jeddah event was exceptional.
